Terms

Request-based bookings, reviewed by PawStay before confirmation.

These terms describe how the current request process should work. They should be reviewed before real production launch.

Requests are reviewed manually

A request is not a confirmed booking. PawStay reviews dog fit, requested dates, owner location, and availability before confirming.

No payment at request stage

No payment is collected when a request is submitted. Payment arrangements, if needed, are handled after PawStay confirms the stay.

Changes and cancellations

Owners should contact PawStay at least 48 hours before the requested stay for changes or cancellations. Late changes are handled case by case.

Owner responsibility

Owners are responsible for providing accurate care, behaviour, medical, vaccination, emergency contact, and feeding information.

Emergency veterinary care

If urgent veterinary care appears necessary, PawStay will try to contact the owner or emergency contact first. If waiting would risk the dog's wellbeing, PawStay may seek appropriate veterinary support. Owners remain responsible for veterinary costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Trial stays and meet and greets

PawStay may recommend or require a trial stay or meet and greet before longer boarding, especially for first-time guests, anxious dogs, or dogs with settling concerns.

Photo and message updates

For confirmed stays, PawStay aims to provide practical updates. Update frequency depends on the stay length, dog routine, and what is reasonable during care.
